Actually, it was more like "Totally Bitchin' Awesome!"
GRINDHOUSE fucked awesome and made her its bitch.
How could it not be awesome? Rose McGowan in a mini skirt with a gun for a leg? That is gold!
The machine gun leg looked cool, but I kept asking myself, "How the hell is she firing it? Does she have a psychic connection with the gun?"
I'll be damned.I started to wonder that myself (along with whether she had an inexhaustible ammo clip embedded in her stump). Then I realized that I was watching a zombie movie set in a world of where most fundamental tenets of science were on hiatus. I felt silly and went right back to suspending my disbelief.Still, I'm kinda glad that someone else was anal enough to ponder the minutia amongst the chaos.
I think that question occurred to me while watching the trailer but once I got into the movie I was far too busy whacking off to care.
By the way, my favorite piece of GRINDHOUSE trivia is that the duck hood ornament on the end of Kurt Russell's "Death Proof" auto is an exact replica of the hood ornament on Kris Kristofferson's truck in CONVOY (1978). Tarantino's prop guys tracked down the original mold that was used for the Sam Peckinpah film. Of course, the guy who owned the mold has now put them up for sale on the Web -- http://www.convoyduck.com/
