Happy Birthday Gundy!

Arbitrary stereotype of the day: Norwegians love cake.
Or is that potato salad?

Regardless, I'm going to celebrate Craig's b-day by going to Jes & Anita's b-day bash tonight at The Big Hunt and indignantly asserting (repeatedly) that Craig's party would be much cooler. Then (after I'm good and hammered) I'll try and convince everyone in the bar that the party was really for Craig, but that Jes & Anita had to ruin it by leaching on. Hell, I might even barf on the subway again just to top it all off.
One thing is for sure - I've got to make an effort to be (more of) an insufferable jerk tonight. It's the way Gundy would want it.

I wanted to get Gundy a Drinkin' Bag for his birthday, but you sound like you're gonna need it more.

Oh, who the the hell cares? Gundy is probably not going to make it through the night. He said something about a beer tasting at 6:30 this evening. You might as well get tanked for the sole purpose of being a jerk.

I don't know. Does Morningstar Farms make vegetarian pickled Herring?
If so, my money's on that.

How bad do I suck that I only read this just now?

If I am to be the yardstick by which all Norwegians' gastronomical tastes are measured, we love beer, cheese, potatoes, and fish. In that order. I had longboatloads of all four this weekend.

Oh, and thanks for ruining Jes and Anita's festivities on my behalf. Who the fuck do they think they are?

This post made me think of Mitch Hedberg who had a bit about how he wished having long hair was not associated for drug use but rather with a longing for cake. "I don't want you dating that guy. He smells like flour. Did you see how excited he got when he heard your birthday was fast approaching?" Genius. Pity his long hair was indicative of drug use. RIP

Gundy is from Chicago but off topic.

So who wants to see the Cubs vs Nationals during the 4th of July week.

I will make the road/train trip up.

Hopefully, they won't be eliminated by then.
